lamda sensor

    hi i am going to replace the lamda sensor before the cat this weekend is this a easy job to do if so what tools will i need? also does anyone have a pic of were the sensor is on the manifold as i had a look today and could not see were it was the car is a mk2 vts any help would be great thanks

    Not sure where they are on the VTS, but you will need a 22mm lambda socket (which is like a 22mm deep with a gap in one side for the wires)

    Something like: Draper Expert 22Mm 3/8" Square Drive Lambda Sensor Socket

    sensors can be removed with ring or open ended tight fitting spanners with care.thats how i remove mine
