Good Quality Clutch Kits?

  1. #1
I have a 2000 VTS & unfortunately the release bearing is on it way out, so i need a good quality clutch kits.

What are good brands or even performance clutch kits?

I have also be offerd a Rallye S2 gearbox, is there any point putting that in to help performance??

    Thanks

Most people just get a valeo, with a valeo you cant go wrong. Buy cheap buy twice.

agreed valeo clutch is best for you mate, will be running one with itbs and cams
  4. #4
Wicked thanks guys i'll look in to it

Valeo no questions but the other one that ain't that bad is LUK anything else is not as good
  6. #6
    I agree with Gav tbh

Use valeo at any given opportunity. If you cant get hold of once then the only other alternative is LUK.

Stay away from anything else, especially transmech

Thy will yeah, but the s2 box isn't much different from a vts box, I was offered one but didn't bother, imo not worth it if your vts box is strong.
As for s1, there good if you dont do much motorway driving. If your after acceleration its the way to go.

Wicked, my vts box is strong and tight, but i would like to see what diffrents it would make with a S1 Box in it, would it make much diffrents? i have to do clutch soon anyway, so box will need to come out.

    Thanks buddy

S1 box will make a massive difference. There's a chart on here somewhere that lists the max speeds of each box in each gear. Iirc with a s1 box will do about 110 on the standard rev limit on a vts, so not great for motorway work. You'll be at about 4k at 70.
