   how many times has this been asked? any engine can be fitted its just the fact of money and time.

   Xsara VTS engine is the same as the GTI-6 engine, look it up, been covered many times, and is just not worth doing, for the price to do it - you could get a turbo kit on a VTS and push the power they put out, and the car will still be lighter, than the 2.0 engine, and be more tuneable, as the GTI-6 and xsara VTS's engines arent that tuneable.
