My brother as smashed up his saxo in some style, so I'm breaking it for him. But what's the best way to drain the petrol out of the tank? He as £30ish in there and don't want to waste it or go up in flames!
Drain the fuel tank

#2could try syphoning the fuel out but not easy, id probably just puncture the tank or disconnect some fuel pipes and let it drain into fuel tins, that worked on my fiesta lol
just remember to be careful petrol is very flammable

#3I think they have a piece of mesh in the filler neck to stop syphoning. I don't fancy putting a hole in the tank incase it go's with a bang! Might try cutting the fuel lines.

#4there is an easy way of doing it, take out the fuse for the fuel pump, get a fork connector and attach it to a piece of wire (i would put an inline fuse in the wire also for safety) removed the fuel feed from injector rail and get some pipe long enough to fit to a jerry can.
attach the fork connector into where the fuse was and the other end of the wire to the battery +tive the fuel pump will now run until the tank is empty when no more fuel will come out
hope i have been a help1 user thanked this post: -
