    Allright everyone!
Just thought id ask on here what to do to make my dark blue P reg saxo look a bit better, and not spend too much, im talkin small things not body-kits or anything. Even any tips for washing, what wax or whatever to use to make it look that bit better.
Also would like to know where you guys buy the stuff from as all i can think of is halfords!

    Cheers!

    Lower, alloys, dewiper etc.

For detailing tips have a look in the car care and detailing section, loads of info in there.

Cheers bud, see the thing with lowering is that as it is the now, when ever there is someone in the back the slightest little bump and you can hear (and feel) the back wheels hitting off the bumper, not too tusre what to do there. Think its cause of the alloys allready on it, which are quite scruffy looking tbh!

Sorry dunno how to edit the last post, just wondering what i could do to the interior lighting wise? To make it look a litttle better.

Interior lighting? Personally keep it standard but thats just me - Many go for the whole LED Dials and 'some' go down the footwell route but not for me.
Cheap Mod - De Wiper - No more than a fiver and in my opinion it looks mint.
Cleaning Products - I use Autoglym and comes out a treat

Yeh i feel that it just looks too dull in the car at nights! Dontget me wrong though, am not a complete neon light freak, dont think too much looks good at all, just want to keep it nice and simple!

Autoglym? Get that in halfords? Will be better than the cheap stuff im using just now anyways!

    Cheers for the replies lads!

Right the first thing you wanna do is give that car a good going over with cleaning products - I recommend you go into Halfords and pick yourself the Meguairs Clay Bar Kit (This is a bar of clay and quick detailer which you spray onto the paint then rub the clay bar into the paint - this will remove all the ingrained dirt and will enhance the look of your paint) also buy TurtleWax TripleWax Polish (relatively cheap and provides far better results than Autoglym SRP although I have heard really good results from Meguairs Polish) and to finish off buy some Meguairs Next Generation Tech Wax 2.0 which you apply after a good polish and this will give your car the best shine you have seen - I use it all the time after washing my car and everyone who sees my car comments on how great the shine is on my paint

Also a decent Car shampoo will help remove dirt better also - I use Meguairs Next Generation Car Shampoo which emulsify dirt and ph friendly to the car

If your any good with engines then you want to be giving your car a really good service - this will restore a lot of lost bhp and will make a lot of difference to the running, fuel efficiency etc.

Mods wise - it depends on how you want your car as there are a lot of 'scenes' people tend to follow so it can be quite expensive and complex - I just mod the car for my own pleasure so not following any scenes but your best bet is to look through peoples progress blogs which should give you a good idea of what you want for your motor.

You can buy car parts from everywhere to mod your motor nowadays and if you want to mod slightly cheaper then eBay is a good bet
