    Where is this?
  16. #16
mines been showing the light for a couple of weeks and its been doing me head in, so today i snipped the connector blocks of what are under the seats and replaced them with some male to female connectors, the light went off straight away when turned the key

Yeh if they're connected it won't be on. Problem I have is someone's taken the whole wires out lol. Can't find where they joint onto the Loom either...
  18. #18
are they airbaged seats?, usually the wiring harness comes through the carpet and the other half of the harness is running through the seat
  19. #19
Where they come up the Carpet normally like on my MK2 and connect to the Seats, they isn't any wires coming through the Carpet. And I've had the Carpet all out and there isn't any under it, or around and no signs of them being snipped off... It's a 99 VTR... I asume they have Airbaged Seats? When I got it it didn't have the standard seats in so I donno... Lol

if theres no wiring under the carpet or a hole in the carpet where they come through then it wont have airbaged seats, if the light is on it must be to do with the steering wheel
  21. #21
Mmm must be I guess... When I got it it didn't have a Carpet. So I donno if there was a hole for them lol.

dont think the wires from under seat are for airbags tbh, probably for the seat belt pretensioners as they work in conjunction with the airbag
