    GSXR bodies are pretty good
  3. #3
we have seen good results with the GSXR bodies and the colin satchell / sandy brown kit
  4. #4
how much does it cost for the colin satchell/ sandy brown kit? cause can get the bodies for bout £100 of ebay...
  5. #5
if your wonting to ad bodies mate you will also be best adding some cams and having it mapped, either standalone ecu or have standard ecu mapped at chipwizards, cant remember how much colin charges off hand
  6. #6
i seem to think the colin stachell kit is roughly £500-£700 region??

pretty much includes everything, air filteretc, even an adapter to accept the stock fuel pressure reg, which is a nice touch. just add a universal throttle cable kit (around £14) and youve throttle bodies on your car

yes you can pick the bodies up on ebay for around £75-£115

tip: make sure the TPS sensor works!! these are very expensive to buy from suzuki!

you then send your bodies off to colin satchell, and he carries out any modifications and makes your kit.

you will require ecu reflash, or better still, stand alone and map.

i seem to think we priced up this conversion supplied fitted tuned with catcam 708s and omex 600 ecu for around £2800-£3000 region.

best get savin then but i also keep playing with the idea of turbo power but unsure of prices cause there is alot of things to choose from....
  8. #8
    turbo rough prices:

stage 1 parts kit around £6000 + vat (250hp) (non forged engine, GT25R)
stage 2 parts kit around £10,000 + vat (300hp) (forged engine, GT28RS, BE kit etc)

these are made up from the parts on our site, all high quality parts (no cheap sh*t!) from brands such as DP-engineering, omex, helix, garrett, catcams, wiseco, pro alloy etc.

  11. #11
haha i know il be sticking to the bodies for that price lol
  12. #12
I personally would just buy a set of new specific car bodies but thats just me.

You can also run andys predator ecu on the saxo/106 which will mean a car up and running for circa £1500.
  13. #13
£1500 sounds alot better to me so mite go for that then...
  14. #14
andys ecu is where you save the money, its cheaper and plugs into the stock loom so no paying for expensive loom mods/new loom.

He has his own section here 'datashift'

£1500 is on stock cams as a rough estimate btw, you wont get the best out of bodies without going wilder cams really.
  15. #15
yeh getting some cams and iv got some bigger injectors of a mate so shall see what happens mate
  16. #16
or you could go for my purpose made units that need no other parts and cab use std fuel rail ,tps ,throttle cable ,has a snap on servo connection --
    £695+vat.
on the shelf in a choice of colours + an off the shelf air filter assembly is also available £140+vat ready driled to fit perfectly
  17. #17
that sounds good to me you mite get a call very soon...

Sandy Brown/Colin Satchell prices for GSXR1000 bodies are:

Inlet manifold custom made, custom trumpets, second butterflies removed and spindle holes plugged, pico injector modifications (if needed), fuel rail and FPR modifications = £550

ITG sausage filter and base plate modifications = £125

So a direct to head kit for £675 inlcuding a filter! Only thing that needs doing is splicing the TPS wiring in and fixing the bodies to the head! Also need a longer throttle cable (£10 ish)

I have a set of GSXR1000 K1 bodies sat doing nothing....PM if your interested

no not really? somebody asked about bike bodies specifically, so an answer was given directed around using bike bodies.

The AT Power kit that GMC sell is a very good kit, even uses stock throttle cable etc, so is very well developed and an easy install.
