    how much would it cost to have my cambelt done my car has done 102k miles and i think its time it should be done
    its a vtr mayaswell have Cambelt, waterpump, tensioner all done at once ive seen £170 for the lot on forums but i need somewhere near northampton area

    Gates Kit £40~ (Belt, Tensioner, Pully)
    Water Pump £25~
    Coolant £15~
    Full Service Gear £40~

    Parts £120~

    Labour: £FREE - 1 warmer weekend doing it yourself (or £40~ some kind peoeple on here closer to you or £80~ garage)

    id rather do it with a specialist tool thats mena be used but we dont have one at work as we are a body shop and dont specialise in citroens so id rather have someone do it with the tool

    we do 8 valve saxo's, Gates cam belt and tensioner,supplied and fitted with reciept and warranty 120 pounds inc labour, extra if you want water pump and coolant change at the same time which is recommended

    20 pounds extra plus parts/anti freeze

    I do them for £180 all inclusive on the 8v. Thats cambelt, waterpump, tensioner and coolant. With a receipt and warranty.

    what are prices if i supply all the parts? as i could get them for cheaper than most people

    cheaps not always best though especially when the longevity of your engine is at stake!

    I'm near Gatwick airport.

    Also, you'll find that people like me and mandyslover wont fit parts you supply. This is purely for warranty purposes, we both supply Gates kits which are very well known and faultless. Fitting cheap parts is certainly false economy. How many clutches i've fitted and a week later they come back slipping or juddering because the quality is crap.

    all my parts are from citroen so they arnt cheap just i can get them cheaper so there shouldnt be anyfaults with them as they are from the main dealer
