New VTR Owner - Heater Problem

   Hi,
   I've just purchased a saxo vtr, the heater doesnt seem to blow out hot air when driving normally.
   If i leave the car to idle for 10 minutes and the car goes to operating temperature then it blows hot, soon as i start driving it goes cold.
   
   Has anyone any ideas on what may need replacing or anything to try ?

   Could either be an airleak in the system;
   Lack of coolant;
   Blockage in the system;
   Or head gasket failure.
   
   Check the Oil cap and work from there.

   It could b your thermostat. It may b suck open not allowing the engine 2 reach operating temp. This is wot my vtr is doing. I'm going replace the thermostat then everything should b ok.

   There is no creamy mayo in the oil,
   the water level is down
   the car doesnt overheat atall
   
   im now maybe thinking heater matrix ?

   as said, could still be thermostat stuck open. wouldnt cause it to overheat, esp in this weather! engine temp will drop quickly once you start moving so the heater temp will drop.
