Battery light flickering

    I fitted a new alternator the other day and the battery light on this dash comes on very dim and flickers and theres a click coming from the fuse box like it does when you turn the key to the first click. The thing is it is flatening the battery any ideas what could be wrong?

    Identify which relay is clicking, make sure it is pushed right home in the fuse box. Check alternator wiring and battery wiring and earth points. Change relay if needed. Also coul d be (smaller chance though) a dodgy alternator you have fitted or slack belt.
