Larger Spare wheel cage?

   Hi there. I have a 1.1 SX MK1 Saxo. I have bought 4 VTR alloys and 1 VTR full size steel spare.
   
   The spare doesn't fit in the cradle under the floor. Can I replace it with a VTR cradle to make it all fit?

   it should fit? they are the same size cage....must have the wrong profile tyre on

   I will try again, I was in a rush when I tried and the Citroen breakers yard told me I will need a VTR cage...

   VTR spare fitted fine in the gf's 1.1.

   Thanks guys. The yard said they will let me have it and fit it for free.
   
   However, I have managed to fit the spare under fine. They clearly don't know much about cars, they are a french breakers specialist aswell.
   
   For info my cage had three positions for the "pivot" end of it. I go it over an inspection pit, removed a 10mm bolt on the right hand side, this allowed me to totally remove the cage and refit on the lowest of the three positions. The full size VTR steel spare then fitted right under.

   i had this problem too. a 14" spare wheel will not fit on the cradle

    Mate, if it's a MK1 you can adjust the cage...
