Just got home from work and noticed a crack in the windscreen about 7 inch frigging long, does anyone know how much roughly for a new one fitted? And where from? Any help appreciated.

#2You fully comp mate, if so you can get it done for like £50-£70 excess covered on your policy?
If not, I think Autoglass charge like £200-£300 which is a rip off
Check the yellow pages because i remember getting one fitted a few years back on my furio for like £110 -
#3Probably not popular with some insurance lovers in here, but to save on £300+ just before Christmas, id check your cover and maybe you will only have a £50 excess to pay for a replacement. It normally doesnt affect any No Claims Discount for a window claim.

#6could try national windscreens, my friend has his put through and they were pretty good priced thats if you cant get it done on insurance

#7thanks lads, gunna have a look at insurance tomoz see if im covered. Hopefully will be if not will have to just buy a brand new one.

#8i used phoenix windscreens mine was £100 fitted.

#9Some salvage yards if they have a scrap car in with a good windscreen will supply & fit it for you mate.

#10Ive used national windscreens twice now. they quoted me 120quid fitted including slightly tinted screen.
