So I lost my front wheel last night..

Hi all, this is my first post on this forum and was hoping for a protip or two?

Basically I skidded across some ice and into a curb last night, which in turn ripped off my front passenger side wheel (and what appears to be the driveshaft? I'm guessing here)

I'm incredibly frustrated as no mechanics can come out to me due to the snow, So I basically just wanted to know what has happened here, and perhaps how much I'd be looking at paying for the repair (and what exactly needs repairing here)

Thanks a bunch, and apologies if I come across as a bit of a car n00b, because quite frankly; I am!

    Forgot to mention,

It's an 02 plate saxo 1.1 iDesire. No mods (apart from the peugeot wheels!)

    Thanks again!

Hmmm, I bet you lost all your oil lol...

Jack it up and have a look, or post some pictures of the underneath you never know it might not be that bad, but for it to look like that, I think you'll need your ToolBox

The snow has ripped my brake lines off, fuel line and my side skirts... Damn stuff I liked it but now it's annoying...

Ouch, that sounds pretty expensive. Any idea how much I'd be looking at? I'll try and get a picture of the underneath in a minute.

And thanks jay, forgot to do the embed link. Schoolboy error!

check there isnt ant bends in the roof around the sunroof..... Did this with my 106 but not as bad it only ripped the wishbone out the floor and bent the chassis as i had a crease around the sunroof. sounds stupid but it may be a write off.

Get a pic under the bonnet of the strut top, I'd say most likely the wishbone and track rod/end

OMG! looks like real bad news (sorry!) as previous comment, could have done far more damage than it looks, good luck anyway.

could be worse than it looks. looking at that you may have damaged/bent the suspension mount where your strut bolts to and chassis underneith where your lower arm bolts to. need a pic from underneith really
*edit - and also a pic from under bonnet where your strut is.

    wishbone and trackrod end/trackrod

lol at the tittle. id say wishbone, track rod end, drop links, possible bent strut.. its lucky it hasnt bent all your arch

Driveshaft could be knackered as could gearbox!

Would has steering rack be damaged too?

1.1's dont have drop links the arb is connected to the wishbone and the brackets are easy to break so that will of gone, the race could potentialy be damaged, teh gearbox is unlikely to be damaged however
