Changing tyres

   I'm in the process of refurbing some VTR alloys. I'm going to be painting them white, however two of the wheels need new tyres. If I get the tyres replaced after painting them, are they likely to get scratched and chipped in the process? If so, how long should I wait after spraying them until getting the tyres replaced?

   no if you do them corectly they will be fine. I get people that come in my work with sprayed rims and i dont chip them. Just make sure you tell the garage to be careful with them.
