misfire at low revs

   hi does anyone know what would make my 1999 saxo vts misfire at low revs!!!
   
   was driving about the other night not tanking it parked up for night, got up for work and started fine but wasn't ticking over right, got less power and its drinking fuel like a fish.
   
   changed spark plugs
   got another coil pack of ebay
   
   still no diffrent
   
   please someone give me an idea!!!!!!

   Mine did this the other night i put fuel in and it stopped. when it does it, its doesnt sounds nice does it?

   Is the engine management light up on the dash ?

   no lights on the dash at all

   a mate of mine had this problem with his gti, no EML on dash but running lumpy more when cold. put my diagnostics machine on it and it was saying lambda sensor only fault it there, could be that but without a machine its hard to guess

   will have a look at the lambda sensor as it is doing my head in now!!! thanks m8

   got it sorted now and it ended up being a fuel injector after going to a sparky and costing me £230. was really not very happy!!!! hope this helps!!!!!
