106 GTi mirrors on my VTR

   Hi all I'm getting some GTi mirrors very soon for my VTR but they're electric and the VTR ones obviously aren't.
   
   Can I just use the saxo base plates / 106 base plates etc?
   
   What do I need to convert them to electric, cheers

   why dont you just put them on and sack off the electric motors and just move them by hand, ive never had electric mirrors that have worked in a saxo/gti and im on my 3rd

   I could do, are the GTi mirrors the same baseplates as the saxo ones?

   i got gti mirrors on my vtr they do fit straight on i just pushed the electric plug down inside the door and i adjust them by hand
