on the vts ive only got a back box and a cat nothing els but the performance has droped alot but cannot under stand why it has ,
any ideas

So would that be my problem to much free flow ,ive got a 2 1/4 full system and a 2 3/4 savage strate through back box, ummm may be

no gas speed is important. You want as high velocity as you can with as little backpressure as possible

depends on the car. I have seen a few saxos running with no exhaust on youtube, and they seem fine if a bit noisy..

cheers bud thats put me strate on that , poss a problem with somthing els ile have to look at fitting my afr meter back on ile do that now gets me out for a bit

ive just fitted a cat back exhaust system on my vtr, basically a sportex race tube (silencerless) with a peco 3" backbox, didnt lose any power,maybe gained a little- just noticed its little more free reving, pops and burbles a bit now so decat next i think
