you mite not hear it from inside the car switch it and lift the bonnet, try it both ways and see if it turns yours on

Switch in the glove box.......would guess the previous owner might have added it for like undercar neons or similar?

Check behind the dash and trace the wire

Couldnt help but have a chuckle at that

If it doesnt do anything, I would just ignore it mate.

You need to trace where the wires go but this may mean removing the dash which could be a ballache getting it back on etc....just leave it be

    +1 trace the wire?
  14. #14
Right, Wires starting hanging out all over the place when i was changing my radio, so took out the middle panel and seen were the magical switch wires run,

Turns out, Switch in glove box was wired to the cigarette lighter which was wired to another switch and them wires run under the mats and down the rubbers that are on the doors to the boot ! my guess it was for a sub ! Now Removed without any harm !

also, There is a red wire running from the inside of the fuse box under the bonnet (Not wired inside the fuse box) to the fuse box under the passengers side of the dash, I'll post a pic of the fuse its link to, was tryin to trace it yesterday when it hit a terminal on the battery and blew the fuse, which was also the fuse for the inside light and radio !
