Saxo VTS alarm problem

  1. #1
    Hello,

During the cold weather my battery went completely flat. Not only was is too flat to start the car, but i was also unable to use the remote central locking.
I have put in a brand new Varta battery today, which is fine - car starts very quickly.

The only problem now is that once i connected the battery all the nearside indicators are continuously illuminated - no matter if the car is locked/unlocked or if the engine is running.
I have since removed one of the fuses for the alarm - which has resulted in the lights going out - however now the central locking does not work - as well as the interior light.

I was hoping that anyone can offer any advice?

    Many Thanks,
    Jimbo

check all your fuses. the interior lights dash lights etc are usually on the same loom. if you dont find anything it could be a faulty relay. hope this helps

I have currently removed the fuse - when it is in the interior lights still work fine - but with the solid light on all nearside indicators.

Could be an alarm relay then, are these common?
    Thanks
