Hope they're better quality than the real French plates as the pressed plates over here are a nightmare- the metal gets caught easily (usually between the letters and often in the elbow of the number "2" for example) and ends up bending and looks naff - I've changed all my French pressed metal plates to Acrylic ones attached with double-sided tape.

yo don't have to have the GB on at all if you don't want can just have it plain.
but the letters must be solid black and u.k regulation font and size and the backing colour must be reflective and white at front and yellow at the back. as far as i know there are only 2 company's in the u.k that can make then that are fully u.k legal and one is dubmeister. you also have to send your full log book off to them before they will make them up for you.
