   can any1 tell mi how to remove the fuel tank on a mk1 vtr silvertop.and what tools will be needed

   Hear mi now.
   
   You need to undo the bolts under the car which hold it in and undo the fuel lines.

   Tie a rope around your fuel tank, then the other end around a drain cover (for best results)
   
   Put your car into first gear , build the revs up to the redline and then gun it.

   it took me 30secs mate, 2 bolts under the tank then it shud pop down and you just make sure the fuel line and electric plug are unplugged
