   Hey, got my saxo about 3 weeks ago and when i first got it the engine management light was on, I figured this was because it had been standing for a while before purchase. A day later after being driven this light had gone off so thought nothing of it. Since when I have been driving at steady speeds the car seems to be jolting a bit, and when in neutral the idle is starting to go lumpy but not all the time. Also the engine management light has come on and stayed on for the past 2-3 days and doesn't seem to be going off. Any ideas?? could the icv need a good clean to fix this problem?? Thanks for any help xx

   the eml is on, best to get the fault read before it goes off, so much better than guessing...

   Yeee, get them codes read! My 1.1 did things like that so much I bought my own Diagnostics scanner lol It came in real handy though!

   ye the scanners are cheap, got mine for about £25.

   Something like this. If your car is pre 2001 it wont work iirc.

   I also have one off eBay, it never worked...
