Track Rod End Replacement

   Hi all
   
   Have a new pair of track rod end's in the post should be here by weekend, I've looked for a guide on here but can't see one
   
   Can anyone give a bit of an idea as to how easy this job is for a MK1 VTR, maybe a few hints/tips?

   I loosed off the nut holding the tie rod end locked in place, then held the actual rack with bar with an open ended spanner ( 19 I think) then just twisted the tie rod untill it screwed out.
   
   Pretty simple mate .

   Cool thanks for that, and would I be right to assume I would need to go get the Tracking aligned again after replacing them?

   yea you would need tracking doing once replaced as it will be out hopefully not by too much

   count how many turns it takes to get the track rod end off then put the new one on the same amount of turns, will hopefully keep the trackin ok for you to get somewhere to have the trackin done
