Engine revs it self a little bit whilst sitting at lights.....

   it sometimes just revs its self just a lil bit...... any problems??? or norm??

   Ummm idle control valve most likely, mine does it too but not all the time
   Sometimes, I shift down to 2nd and it either stalls or revs itself to 2k on its own for a few seconds.
   Sitting at lights the same thing happens but like once a week or something.
   
   I will replace the ICV when the weather warms up, cant be bothered to stand about in the cold for the sake of a bit of random revving every now and then
