#5Shell V-power or Tesco momentum
Anything else is like dish washer water in the MR2 -
#6cheapest
-
#7Shell as it's the closest to me.
-
#8Shell usually, the drivers club card they have is pointless as I have 5 out of 500 points needed for an offer and ive filled up about 5 times since I had the card lol
-
#9Shell.
Last time I used Tesco's 'Finest' was when I had a moped..It made that run like it was being fuelled with sand. Haven't used it since. -
#10S3 - Vpower or Momentum
Corsa - cheapest shite going -
#1199RON fuel only for me - tesco's.
-
#12Carrefour or Eroski , 1.09 cents a litre grade A gaseleo (deisel)
-
#13v power since the day i owned my vts or tesco momentum... its not a huge difference in price, so worth it
-
#14Shell cheapest and best.
Tesco is shit as fuck -
#15Texaco, or BP, i dont like to use supermarket fuel if i can help it. Only if im very low
-
#16thought the drivers card worked on the amount of litres put in and any items bought in the shop, how it works with my shell card ive got like 760 points just filling up and buying the odd drink when i go in or piece of chocQuote:Shell usually, the drivers club card they have is pointless as I have 5 out of 500 points needed for an offer and ive filled up about 5 times since I had the card lol

and i only use shell

#17I get like 400Mile for 40 quid...from tesco fuel..so clearly not "shit as fuck"
-
#18Seen as it's only a Saxo and not like the Queen Jewels or anything i just fuel up at the cheapest and closest petrol station, roughly get about 280/290 miles on a full tank (£40.00), i've learnt from my mate though and that is to never let my car go below halfway therefore i only need to spend £20.00 a time and not having to splash out another £20.00/£25.00 to fill it back upto the brim etc.
-
#19rofl. Love comments like this.

You do realise that Tesco petrol is refined Esso... right? And Sainsbury's is refined by Shell?Nearly all fuel is the same - there are some additives in some fuel companies (ie, optimax Vs 97ron from Texaco) but the actual fuel is the same.
The RON rating is important if you're remapped, but other than that, you pays your money, and you takes your choice! -
#20But if you have 40 litres in there Vs 20 litres, you're carrying around 20kg extra in weight for no reason - damaging your MPGQuote:Seen as it's only a Saxo and not like the Queen Jewels or anything i just fuel up at the cheapest and closest petrol station, roughly get about 280/290 miles on a full tank (£40.00), i've learnt from my mate though and that is to never let my car go below halfway therefore i only need to spend £20.00 a time and not having to splash out another £20.00/£25.00 to fill it back upto the brim etc.
You wouldn't carry a big sack of dog food in the boot for no reason would you? I generally run my "normal" car at 1/4 tank or so where possible for this reason
-
#21tescos momentum or V-power
-
#22Oh right well I've filled up there every time since I passed a few months ago and I got an email saying I had 5 points lol
-
#24texaco as its the only one near me if i get near a shell she gets a treat to v power as its still cheaper than normal fuel by me
-
#25Shell fuel save. Nice and cheap
-
#26Thought it was the other way round bud? Hence Sainsbury's super being 97, same as Esso, and Tesco used the same as Shell, hence both being 99?Quote:rofl. Love comments like this.

On topic, Tesco 99 (Momentum, gay name for the supposed 'performance' option), or V Powaaaah for me.
The extra money I spend would only be spent on the car, or on shite anyway... -
#27My local shell I get cheap fuel as im a regular....as in they let me off when I go a penny over
-
#28Yeah it may be thinking about it - my point was that all fuel in this country pretty much comes from one place - well, 8 places technically as there's 8 refineries) - but it's pretty much all the same.Quote:Thought it was the other way round bud? For me, I run the highest RON I can find in my gti as I really don't fancy having saved £2.50 on a tank of fuel for it to det it's tits off, and launch a piston whilst on full boost
The derv gets the cheapest fuel i can find - I'd pour crude in there if I could find some
-
#29Only ever use shell. Closest to me and far better than supermarket shit
-
#30don,t forget that petrol will go up by 4 to 5p on the 4th of january --vat rise --so maybe a good idea to fill up now
-
#31Use mostly BP it's closest to me!
-
#33If I fill up now, I'll need to fill up a few more times before then still, lol.Quote:don,t forget that petrol will go up by 4 to 5p on the 4th of january --vat rise --so maybe a good idea to fill up now
Or Tesco fuel...Quote:Supermarket shit? Love it.
Shell fuel. Also known as Sainsbury's fuel.
-
#34I have choice between supermarket or Esso my way. I have only ever put Esso in my VTR, get about 320 miles per tank. Found esso much better than tesco or asda when doing pizza delivery in my old car so have stuck with it.
-
#35Shell V-Power.... Nothin else
-
#36Shell, just the standard petrol, which reminds me I need to fill up.
