I am trying to strip down and rebuild the rear axle on my '02 Saxo VTS. I have read most of the guides but am having trouble removing the rear anti roll bar.
I have removed the end cap bolts either end and also the rubber/plastic plug from one end so far. The guides seem to show their being a plug on both end plates but mine only has the one.
The end plates can be rotated about 45 degrees (but turning one also turns the other) but I can't get them off. Do I just need to get one off to then push the anti roll bar out or can I hammer a drift through the hole where the plug was to drive the roll bar out the other side?
