   are the base plates the same as they're virtually identical and really cba to go try fitting my new mirrors in the cold.
   
   Was just wondering what the score was with them
   
   Also the GTi mirrors are electric, would the VTS loom be the same and how hard would it be to wire into a VTR?

   Yes they fit mate, gti and vts mirrors are electric and you cant use the wiring I dont think. Just put them on and adjust the mirror with your finger
