Angel eye bulb

    Hi guys, had a lil search and could only find mk2 solutions. I believe i am being very thick but I had a look and un-did a few things but decided to search for an answer in case i broke anything lol

    I have mk1 angels and the bulb for dipped beam blew yday :/

    Does anyone know how to remove it and which bulb i need to replace it. Thanks

    if you want to replace the dipped bulb, i believe its the outer ones if you look at the back of the unit you can see 2 caps, the bulbs are inside there, as say is the outer cap on mine just pops off should be wires going into it if remember rightly

    Yeh mate i popped the cap off and removed the two wires but then theres a screw and some wire shit going on?

    ahh ill have look tomorrow see if there the same as mk2 angels.

    wire shit as in a clip sorter thing?
    the bulb is defo under that cap theres like a clip that holds it in which looks like abit of bent wire, it latches under a lip sorter think if you press it the clip will move and the bulb is under that

    Okay had a go at it again today, but the clip wont move at all. Theres a screw there does that need to be undone?

    No its just a metal spring clip.. you pince them in..

    I see what you mean, its like that on the high beam one. But not the dipped :/.

    take it to helfruds yea its 6 quid to get it fitted but will save hastle if you dont have a clue

    if its a mk1 it will be a H1

    Thanks to all that helped me. I checked the other unit and found that the one with the blown bulb is actually broken, rather than me being a complete spastic. So yeh, thanks to everyone thats helped me, will now have to find another way to get into it.
