Few Problems

Im starting to wonder why I bothered buying my 3rd french car and this one I love but its doing my head in now:

    1) Rattling on the engine has developed, have checked oil level all is ok, sounds like it is coming for the cambelt area?

    2) Driveshaft(s) clunking round corners, how do I tell which one it is? am I better off replacing both?

    3) Squeaking when driving? Car is lowered 50mm

    4) Clutch feels very high, can I just adjust it or is it likely to need replacing?

    thanks in advance

    Im not a mechanic but..

    1) Not sure, engine mount fucked maybe.

    2) Check for oil leak, and any play.

    3) Dampers be fucked.

    4) What model Saxo you got? VTS/R etc, mk1/2?

But on mk1s VTR and below I know can be adjusted..

Think others self adjusting? Not 100% sure.

I'm on phone so can't see.

Think that's self adjusting.. Have look under bonnet, see if can see the cable, will have 2 nuts and bolts on it that you loosen to adjust, if not it's self adjusting. And your clutch is on way out.

OK I know im opening an old thread of mine again but thought best to rather than open a new one!

Engine Rattle Sorted - Loose Spark Plug

Clutch - Is fine (think I was just being paranoid..... and no I dont smoke the green stuff)

Changed both shafts - Now got a loud bang when stopping and when dry steering sounds like a knocking sound....... BALL JOINTS?

Squeaking is still there but doesnt seem to be related to the bumpiness of the road, more wheel rotation but not all the time?
