doesn't want to fire up when been used

hi,
When iv been out for a drive and say stop somewhere for 5, ang go to fire up the car it just turns over over nad over, sometimes it starts straight away or sometimes will reluctantly start, (very reluctantly), iv read that this is coil pack break down, and this makes sense as when i got the car a few weeks ago, i took the coil pack up as developed s misfire, after taking the pack off, the terminals or pates for cyl 1 and 4 were like new, but 3 and 4 were filthy, i cleaned them and its made it better and the misfires gone, but they terminals arent too good still, So is this just coil pack break down or is there more, such as a temperemental fuel pump?

I think the key factor is that the problem occurs when your engine is warm (from what I can gather, sorry if I am wrong). In this case I suspect that the green temp sensor near the thermostat housing that feeds the ECU is on the fritz and the ecu is over fueling the car, effectively flooding it. For less than £10.00 I would change the green sensor.

PS you can check this sensor easily. Get car warmed up and idling, lift bonnet and disconnect the plug from the green sensor. If the engine spazzes out then the sensor would seem to be working fine. If no change in engine note/speed/smoothness then it needs a new one. Change it when engine is cold btw, it just unscrews.

thanks, yeah the car is over fueling it really stinks, but its only been noticable since i put a pipercross viper on it, and due to rushing have it bolted onto the throttle body atm, i presumed that it was over fueling due to the pipercross being fitted how it is
