How long has the ignition been on/car been driven since it went? I managed to do a 20/30 min drive with lights on with mine snapped, and got home just as the lights were dimming.
So, if it's only just gone, you could probably get the car home, no worries.
driven for 2 mins it went at the roundabout just down from work. and ive started it twice. would i be best to bump it later instead of using precious power to start the car.
i take it it would be best to drive slower than usual and not use the lights? cheers

Speed won't make a difference. Drive faster and you get home quicker, lol.
As a precaution, I personally would use as few electrics as possible, no lights (unless it's dark enough to warrant using them), no cd player etc.
Bump or start normally, I reckon you'll still make it home either way.
