headlights facing down to much

    hi guys

    got a small promblem with the vtr , the headlights seem to be facing to the road to much , i put the switch down by the wheel upto the highest setting and its still no ware near enough . so i changed the bulbs ( spend 25 squid ) and still looking crap . how do you raise them up ?

    take it to a garage and get the beam set

    5-15 quid, i wouldnt pay anymore.
    I charge a tenner! But its easy enough to do yourself, if you have a wall and flat surface to park on.

    Check if the frame in which the headlights fit is not damaged or slightly hit. Any few millimeters of default in the front side of the car can cause really bad light distribution. you might need to force the headlights downward from the engine compartiment side so they heighten their level

    look on the headlight there are two ajusters try them they twist may need an alan key befor paying a garage

    There is an adjuster on the. Back, as i said, google is your friend.

    Next time i do mine, ill get a post up / how too!

    You need masking tape, tape measure, a wall and a car.
    Beam height, at distance, equals to the required level. But dont ask me the equasion now lol.

    thanks alot mate ill have a ganders on googley and see what i can find .
