  1. #1
ok well car went threw mot today and the only thing it failed on was rear drivers side brake ?
    the handbrake passed tho
any ideas what it could be and how i can fix it ?
it has brand new pads in it
    cheers
  2. #2
What exactly was the number and problem
  3. #3
    901- axle 2 (SB) - 79% imbalance
  4. #4
Im sure that is uneven wear on the brake pad?
  5. #5
    brake pads are new lol
ano i dont understand but im going to bleed the breaks again to see
  6. #6
ya brakes need bleeding m8 then should be gd
  7. #7
    ... or a seized calliper..
  8. #8
ok break blead breaks and still no luck, how will i go about unseizing the caliper ?
whats the chances of it being the load sensor valve ?
  9. #9
u lowered? check the bias valve its probably seized
  10. #10
lowered at front but not at the back, realy need help as i would like to get this fixed and possibly mot'ed tomorrow
  11. #11
oyea it used to be lowered at the back but i put a new axel in and used the same valve so could it have been ajusted for it being low ?
  12. #12
Take a calliper off, pads out, piston seals off, unscrew the bleed valve, and wind the pistons back in gently using water pump pliers. Tighten the bleed screw and pump the brake pedal slowly until the piston is quite a long way out (don't do it 'till it comes out fully!) Keep checking your brake fluid level and make sure its topped up. Spray the piston with WD40, make sure its got no grit on it then unscrew the bleed valve and wind the piston fully in again. Repeat this 4 or 5 times. Put the seal back on, pads in and bolt it back on. Repeat on the other side. Should sort out the imbalance
  13. #13
bleed valve on calliper is fooked
  14. #14
Just a rounded bleed screw or has it snapped off/broken the calliper?
  15. #15
it has broke off, got a calliper and bias valve of my mates vts so going to try them and see what happens, alto the piston is coming out
    dont understand whats wrong lol
  16. #16
ok replaced bias valve and calliper and still not locking
there is loads of preasure going to passanger side but hardly any to drivers side, cant understand why its not working
if you put your food on the brake you can still turn the drivers rear wheel
  17. #17
    brake flexy hose collapsed internally?
  18. #18
    Blocked hose?
  19. #19
ok have a funny feeling the pipes are in the wrong place in the bias valve lol
can someone kindly give me a picture of were the pipes go
