not a happy gear box :(

   just wondering if any 1 can help identify a problem i have...
   i have a mk2 vtr n its a little difficult to get in 2 gear sometimes (normaly lower gears)
   and when i take it out of 1st it sometime jumps out almost instead of glide smoothly...
   my gear stick also rocks a little bit, which sug a mount has gone i think...
   oh and when im floorin it it grinds from 2nd - 3rd...
   
   any ideas cheers tom

   Sounds like two thing's to me
   
   1 - synchros in the box are worn
   2 - lower engine mount is worn causing play

   my gearboz does this sum times, well wobbles a bit and grinds sometimes from first to second, let us know if you find a cure

   it's the mount that bolts onto the gearbox that mate, same thing happening on mine replaced it Job done
