want to extend my bonnet

   as above i have a mrk 1 vts want to extend bonnet whats best way of doing it ? ......does mrk 2 wings bonnet and lights fit ? just seen a few mrk 2 on google and looks nice photos with extended bonnet would be great full thanks

   I know mine is mk2, but I have welded eyebrows on mine, take a look at my thread if you fancy the idea? Would be the same on a mk1.

   the way you have your bonnet is the way i want mine but fill the grill in to but does that mean i would have to change lights grill and bonnet ?????

   You mean you want a mk2 front end? Or you want to just weld some eyebrows on your mk1 bonnet ?

   i dont mind if i change it to a mark 2 what i mean is i want the bonnet to meet the bumper like a mark 2 has anyone seen this done on a mark 1 so i dont have to change to mark 2

   Ohh. I don't think you can do it on a mk1 as the mk1 has the grill in the slam panel.
   
   To change to a mk2 involves changing:
   
   Wings
   Slam panel
   Lights
   Bonnet
   Headlight trims under lights
   
   Think that's about it?

    i know im woffling yesterday on here i seen a green mint mark 1 but carnt find it now that bonnet was extended only a bit but i must say one hell of a nice saxo

    you can have the bonnet extended down to the bumper on mk1's anything is possible

    thanks mate have you seen any done that i can look at just i was up till 2 this morning looking lol i now anything can be done as i owned a body shop but never worked on a saxo and would like to see one done so can see if to do a bit or go all the way ??

    there you go, hes using morettes with his extended bonnet which i think you will need to make it easy,as the original mk1 grille goes under the head lights and obviously with an extended bonnet you will remove the grille therefore you will have a gap under the headlights but morette lights sit on the bumper itself as they come with a custom grille

    how bout a full mk2 facelift not a lot of work or cost if you get the kit the right colour
