Important! : Alternators gone help please!!

  1. #1
hey everyone just thought i'd pop up on here and ask some advice/help. I recently bought a saxo from a guy in hemel hempstead and he neglected to tell me that its screwed and the alternators gone. Does anyone know anywhere i can pick up an alternator for pocket money as i only have limited funds to get one. and also it has a two pin attachment. whats the best way of finding the right one for me?

Scrap yard or someone on here? Put "Wanted 2 Pin Alternator for VTR" as your signature, you might get lucky

Failing that, get a Bosch exchange from Andrew Page - will set you back about £80 though

yeah you know that. i drove it back to reading where it decided it was going to die. i can fit the alternator myself but dont want to spend too much on it. i'm contemplating selling it now. not a bad car tho really
