furio to vts..

   right im going to be doing a conversion,
   im getting a single plug vts engine and i have a single plug furio
   just wondering some things i may need to buy and come across:
   
   like the fuel pump will i need to change it coz the vts has a fuel return does the furio?
   
   will my exhaust hook up for now? as i was going to hook it up till i find a vts one i know it will be smaller bore but its a full stainless straight through mani fold back powerflow one and cost a fair whack and can't afford new one right away lol.
   
   any other thing i may come across i will need to buy as im planning on doing this the weekend, i will have the driveshafts, loom, unlocked ecu and down pipe.

   dont think a furio has a fuel return. manifold wont fit am 99% sure on. the induction system is slightly diffrent. not needed but id want better brakes in the future tho..

   I had this conversion done to my Furio last year. Other things you will need are VTS Rad and Fan, VTS fuel return pipes (buy the proper ones from Citroen around £60 iirc). Also bigger brakes, especially if you plan to keep drums on the back like I did. Drop me a pm if you get stuck anything during the conversion, I may be able to help

   nah its not the manifold ive got the vts downpipe just a after market furio exahust manifold back wondered if it would hook up for a short time i know prob be bit restricting just wondered if it would fit for a short time, and yeah will be getting them soon defo want to uprate the brakes

   I thought furios came with vt brakes up front? If so why bother replacing them?

   They have drums on the rear. Yes the rear brakes don't do alot of the braking, but I wasn't that happy with jumping to 130bhp from 75bhp with the same brakes! Any big brakes will make a vast improvement, alot of people go for 283mm GTi-6 brakes. I went for 285mm Hi-Spec 4 pots. Huge difference.

   yeah eventually want to uprate the brakes to some better ones might just uprate the servo and that for now, and anyone know about the exhaust situation?

   I could be wrong but i'm sure the bore of the standard Furio and standard VTS manifold are the same so I don't see why your exhaust wouldn't fit?

   yeah only for a time being as ive got nothing else to put on it for now so just wanted a quick tempory fix by just using my old system till i get a new one lol

    itll bolt to the vts down pipe no probs as long as its still got the standard flange

    its bolted to my standard manifold on my furio now its just a manifold back if it does then thats good news for now, reckon will be restricting coz of the bore size then? just wondering if there will be much point in getting vts one if no difference? im guessing there prob would be tho lol
