Are pressed plates legal?

   my plates atm are cracked and really fuzzy so want some new ones, and love the pressed look, but are they legal? ive seen a few plain, then a few with the french bit on the side, not sure whats legal and whats not..
   
   if so, where can i get them from?

   They are providing they have correct font type/size/spacing, are reflective, display either GB or nothing at the side and have manufacturer's details on them...
   
   Only company i know that makes road legal ones is Dubmeister, i have a set and they look great!

   wicked! got told by someone police are starting to stop more and more people because of pressed plates, but i defo wanna get some!

   i was under the imprsion that unless the car was made with them fited its not legal and that one of the requirements for them acording to the police is " of plastic constrution" ime not deff on this there mite be someone on here who can give you a deff answer but i hope this helps
