Injector firing

Do saxo VTS injectors fire sequentially or in batches?

    Thanks

semi sequential is the info i have.

reason being is that i am adding bigger injectors so i need to space the rail. the extra height makes it clash with the chamber, so i've had to turn the injectors 180 degrees so the plugs are on the inside, except now they are handed so the wires are kinked a they are now pointing the wrong way.

can i change injector plug 1 for 4 and 2 for 3 - shouldnt make a difference if they batch fire right?

They will open and close sequentially

hmm. 3 pin connector controlling 4 injectors with two wires to each...

one wire is a common signal. The other two wires is what will controll the paired injectors.

to firs squentially you need an individual wire to each injector .
,must be at least five wires going to the loom conector to be squential and some form of cam phase sensing

    like a jp4 engine .

Single plug is semi sequential, 3 plug is fully sequential

How is the 3-plug fully sequential without a cam position sensor?

The coilpack (grey plug only) feeds back a digital signal, depending on which cylinder took the most voltage to create a spark it works out which was under compression so it knows which is at TDC

back EMF and crankshaft acceleration, same way it works out misfire detection

Can you explain more about that Ryan since I understood the coilpack was wasted spark.

I understood the digital signal was to report misfires only, and that the 3-plug has individual injector wiring for diagnostic reporting purposes only, not sequential injection

I'm looking at some wiring diagrams here too
EDIT: Just reading about it now!
