Important! : vts into a vtr, looM question

Right guys, as above I have a 51 reg vtr with the 3plug ecu (98bhp) so would the engine loom out of a V reg mk2 single plug plug straight in to the car loom, sorry if its a bit of a stupid question! Sure someone on here will be able to help me, thanks

Thanks for the link mate but that doesn't really help me, I know there is different multiplugs to connect car loom to engine loom and wandered if anyone could tell me wether to the plug from my car would fit the vts emgine loom

all can say is that single plug looms aren't all the same where they plug into the chassis, 2 different sizes of plug

The vts plug is the crossover one if that helps, 1plug ecu but in a ph2 car, and mine is the ph2, don't know if that makes it any clearer?

it will plug in but it wont wok properly. dials wont work, fan wont work, reverse lights wont work.
get the right loom and ecu

Is ther no way I can get them to work? I already have a whole vts I bough as a donor car mate

rewire the multiplug and fit the vts rad and fan loom as well.
when i did my conversion i had the same engine loom as you and a 3 plug vtr, i just foudn it easier to buy the right loom

So with different loom and ecu everythin would work? How much would that cost though?
