    need recommendations for an exhaust system, links and pics, any potential gains? on a budget so cheaper the better really, want best possible gains from a system and nothing too loud

    possible 15bhp gain with a supersprint/ kam racing on a VTR i think...

    ideal, best place to buy? are the exhaust set ups identilce to the furios?

    think the set up is the same! kam racing website is best place! think its just kam racing.co.uk..

    Another option is a saxsport. apparently they are the absolute dogs danglies!

    15bhp gain from an exhaust? fuck me, where do i get this exhaust from. lol. maybe if its got bodies cams and mapped an exhaust on a 1.6 na may get somewhere close to 15bhp

    you will only see an increase in throttle response... just! with a good exhaust with the centre silencers removed etc... magnex is my choice never regret getting mine, its quiet untill it gets into decent revs... just be careful what you buy, if its a mk2 engine with the catalytic converter in the manifold you will need a different exhaust over the mk1 engine (underside cat)

    it is for a Mk2 VTR so i wouldn't see anything wrong with it.

    they only do what every other tuning company in the world says. upto **bhp gain etc etc.

    which, when it is used with other modifications, it has the potential, turbo a vts with the standard exhaust on, see how much power it can makewhen mappping, and then add a kam racing and map again, chances are you'll see a decent gain, just like pipercross/k'n etc saying about a certain gain in power.

    i personly have a kam racing exhaust, its a very good system, throttle response is up, and its got a bit more up the top end, but i wouldnt say its gained much power. but when i get a exhaust manifold on and get round to fitting a set of cams and rallye inlet, i'm sure it will help them out alot.

    best place to find ruff guide be youtube to find an exhaust sound you like .
    i go for magnex exhaust if you don't wont anything to loud .

    We have had customers reporting back with either the raceland or supersprint manifold and either the supersprint exhaust system and KAM Racing exhaust system and all have got 13-15bhp gains. We will tell you if we are making a rough guess, but independent feedback from customers is far better for us and potential other buyers.

    is that not because the vtr is very restricted as standard to keep it out of the vts league

    hence the tiny bore centre section they have
    with the kam or supersprint you will maybe see 5bhp or so gain but the real benifets would be with a manifold as welljust bear in mind if you just have a backbox with no middle silencer or cat its gonna be loud
    if you want to keep it senisible noise levels with good gains get the kam backbox with the supersprint silenced center section and the raceland 4-1 manifold
