Speedo/Rev counter not working

  1. #1
Today I tried to start my engine and you could hear the starter motor but I don't think it was ticking over the engine.

So I had to bump start but the rev counter and Speedo are not working,

When I got back to mine and had stopped the engine I tried to start it up again and it did do fine.

But my Speedo and Rev Counter are not working...

    Anybody know what to do?

My 16v do e this, id be driving and it would do it, it could be your battery duff or alternator.... Its due to the low volts it throws everything out, my alternator wiring had broken. As said above just disconect the battery abd it should be fine but charge the battery full before hand just so you know its full.

Just noticed the petrol indicator and the temp gauge isn't working either plus the noise that goes off when you open the door with lights on didn't work either...

I will try the battery thing when I'm back from the physio and let you know how it goes

Disconnected the battery before I went and all the dials where working fine, so thanks for that.

But then it wouldn't start up again so had to bump start again lol
