why is it floppy ?

   ok my gear stick is realy floppy, gears are all there and all seem to work well but the shaft is wild floppy
   is there anything i can do to fix this ?

   Mine is fairly slack, goes into gear fine but moves about quite a bit

   On the first link given, it says we need to get a modified roll pin for the gearbox selector fork, from Shitreon.

    either put up with it or go with the roll pin. it looks like the answer it must just be a common fault... among the millions of other "common" problems with saxo's number one been people ragging the gear stick when there trying to show off there "quick shifting y0!"

    yeh mine was like this and its only got 60,000 on it. but just got a short shifter and when i fit it earlier i noticed the ball joint on the old one was 100% fucked, it was all cracked new one works an absolute dream. tight as a nun`s cunt
