   what will i be needin to change, replace, so i dont have to worry about the car dying on me? apart from a cambelt change and what not

   Oh 116k EVERYTHING will now break in the next 5 miles.
   
   Nothing mate. Just look after it. Ignore the miles...replace anything that needs replacing as you would with a 30k miled car. Thorough service if it requires one.

   Yes just service it regularly and if no proof of when cambelt was done have a look what condition its in and make a choice if you want to change it or not.. As for anything else just wait till it comes along before having to touch anything

   I'd just give it a thorough service if I was worried about the history and when everything was last done (as I was when I got mine). I got mine knowing the cambelt had been done at 75k, but then nothing in the book after that, so I just replaced all filters, and gave everything a good check over. Gonna bleed all the brakes and change the coolant sometime soon as well, just to be sure.

   Just passed 126k here. No problems at all. Just make sure you service it like others have said.

   Ive had two which got to 130k
   
   got one now on 130k, and a 307 on 114k.

    on 130k in the quiky and still going strong, tho the gearbox and clutch are in need of attension

    My last one made it to 129K and the engine was fine, it was the rust that was a problem

    my vtr is on 143K, dont think the clutch has ever been changed, but i still wheel spin it everywhere, but hey im 17, i do what i want

    Keep the oil changed frequently warm the car up properly in the mornings don`t rage it do the cambelt when it needs doing all will be fine.The biggest enemy is RUST.

    like anything, if its looked after, itll go for a while, ive seen one thats got 144k on it and everything was in fine working order, apart from the dreaded rust.

    think toby's quiky on 106oc is on 160k?? but has a new gti engine, and theres a couple pass the 200k mark

    Just got my MOT done today, 115000 miles and it only had one advisory: rear discs are running a bit low, otherwise it's all absolutely bob on! Take care of them and they take car of you!
