1plug blacktop to 1plug silvertop

    Has anyone done it? need some advice?

    Ive recently changed my engine from a vtr blacktop 1plug to a vtr silvertop 1plug and ive encounterd some problems, just wondering if somone could shed some light on them for me.

    i have swapped everything over from the blacktop to the silvertop.

    1st, the silvertop has coil packs and the blacktop has ht leads? ive used the ht leads on the plugs and it seems ok.

    2nd, the silvertop injectors are abit shorter than the blacktop ones which means the fuel rail doesnt sit properly so i have put the silvertop injectors on the old fuel rail but i cant fit the metal bracket bits, as above seems okay.. not leaks.

    But... When i started the car it revved to about 6000rpm then cut out, restarted again and it has a really bad idle problem. It goes from very nearly stalling to about 4000rpm. ive tried removing the idle control valve and spraying carb cleaner in it and it makes no differance. Also when i unplug the idle control valve it makes no differance.

    forgot to mention, im having to drive it like this to work and when i put the clutch down it does the same bad idle. Also it is very jerky when i first change gear and lift of the clutch an push the accelerator pedal it jerks like anything
