Is it easy to take off?

i aint looked really but what will be left over just a hole?

Just a hole straight through the glass mate. Its simple, but you need a bit of patience to get the actual arms off the splined fixing as it will more than likely be seized.

to cover the hole you can either use a rubber grommet from Halfrauds, or go to a local pug garage and get these:

874542 - Plug
874543 - Washer
874544 - Screw

£2.32 it cost me

yeah the arms the worst bit. once it comes loose its fine. me & Luisax put a good coating of WD40 on before trying to remove them. seemed to make it a little easier

once you take the retaining nut off the top its just a case of pulling it off mate. it make take a bit of tugging, but don't go mental & break your back window

lol not at all mate, always the best warning to give to anyone. i played safe & bought a puller thing from halfords to do the job for us

think it was only about 13squid mate, a little fiddly but did the job well. i used the 3-leg puller, should find it in the tools section
