   Basically I have the Janspeed 4-2-1 http://www.kamracing.co.uk/index.php...l?options=cart and also bought http://www.kamracing.co.uk/index.php...st-system.html.
   
   Now my issue is how to couple the manifold up to the centre section?
   
   
   
   
   
   Can anyone else see my issue?

   cut the exhaust end off your standard system and well it onto the new exhaust so you can fit it that way?

   weather its any help or not when garage fitted my janspeed with sports cat and supersprint they said they had to cut the super sprint end a bit to get it to fit together

   I am tempted to cut the lip thing off the end of the manifold and fit it that way

   is that silver part on the exhaust able to come off? rip it off then just put exhaust paste in the join?

   My manifold did not have a lip on like that, neither does a raceland I don't think

   This is what is puzzling me as I bought a Janspeed for my GTI and fitted it to the KamRacing SS center and had no issues whatsoever

   janspeed manis are a pig to fit, sh*t quality. mine needed holes boring out for the head studs to fit, the bracket under neath is well of. and they bodged it,and guess what it broke

    That manifold fitting just lookS wrong the exhaust flange looks bent as well

    Just had a brain wave - could I not go B&Q or something and buy longer bolts to bolt it together?

    Either way the fitting is poor. Longer bolts is not the answer
    
    A smaller fitting gasket could work.

    A smaller gasket wouldnt work as it wont fit over the end on the centre section. Am waiting for a modified gasket from Kam but I need my car back on the road now

    thinner gasket and longer bolts. as long as its tight it'll be fine. on my btb half the gasket was visible just not quite as much as your first pic

    The issue is our exhaust system is the largest bore at the manifold end. The Supersprint and Saxsport are more like 49mm in reality so use a slightly smaller gasket. The next issue is the VTR manifolds are slightly smaller flange anyway as they have to work with standard exhaust systems (the VTR being 46.6mm)

    looks like with the smaller bore Janspeed two longer bolts are the simple fix. Theres no problem with fitment as such other than more thread being required to do up the nuts.
