My back rest on the front seats are like a rocking chair, the part where you lean your back rocks forwards and backwards so easily. How do I go about tightening this?
Loose front seats..

#1

#2The sub frame bolts? If so they are torx bolts.. just tighten them up
-
#3mines also loose, but the nut has completely come off and I think it's under the floor so there is no way to tighten it. can anyone help me please?
p.s sorry for thread hijack I just didn't see the point in making a new thread about the same thing
-
#4if its the ones that bolt to the foor.. slide the seat back.. and tight it.. then slid eit forward and get the 2 at the back
-
#5Sorry should of made it clearer, its only the back rest (the part where you rest your spine/shoulders on) that rocks, not the whole chair.
-
#6ahh.. i may be wrong.. but try have a look under the chair for the mechanism that reclines your seat! and see if that needs adjusting/ tightening..
-
#7thats a standard accessory from citroen (the rocking chair) lol mines rock too.
-
#8From a safety perspective surely that doesnt help. The thing is its only the front passenger that rocks, the drivers is pretty solid so doesnt bother me-just bothers the passengers lol
-
#9my driver one used to rock, but not the passenger one
couldnt stop it was abit of a pain!! -
#10Probably a common problem with saxos and not fixable right?
-
#11mine rocks all the time, had a look but cant see anything to help problem,so just stuck wiv it for now.
-
#12My passenger seat rocks aswell, a lot of my passengers complain about it, I just tell them its seat suspension
lol
-
#13on my old saxo the passenger seat did the same thing, and my new one both of the seats do it, and a few others I test drove did it aswell so I think its a common problem, tried ages trying to find a way to sort it and no luck
-
#14Ah well, at least my seat doesnt wobble! screw the passenger!
-
#15Common problem with saxo`s i`m on my 2nd set of seats & the passenger 1 rocks when I go over a bump.
