engine conversion

    im looking to do a large engine overhaul. ive decided to replace my vtr with either xsara or xantia vts. both are 2L 16V engines. i was wondering if they would fit the saxo's engine bay and also what ancillaries would be needed with the engine.??

    Anything can fit m8 but if u mean bolt dirrectly in a don't think they so

    it will fit mate, i have actually worked on a track prepped saxo with a xsara VTS lump, box and suspension fitted,
    i'm not sure exactly what work was carried out to get it in (all i did was weld the cage and replace brake pads and disks)

    it can be done,as can anything give time,money and resources, all of which you'll need by the bucketload to end up with a car that handles like a yacht in a heavy sea. Engine will upset the balance of the car, much better off fitting an S and playing with that
