rear brake valve

    anyone no how much the rear unit costs roughly as mine is siesed and i got quoted 380 pounds for new part and fitting sounds like a con to me cheers

    no idea on price of a new one from citroen,fitting is a pain in the butt,not hard but real fiddly

    no, but its no easy task. dropping the axle down on its mounts makes access easier though

    It's ok lol got someone to fit it really cheap just need the part bit of a pain to find at the minute

    You do know that you could always soak it in WD40 and then free up the lever. It's not hard

    as above - soak it in wd40 and free it off

    What actually goes wrong with these? My rear brakes have become overkeen recently, for first 5 mins of journey, then they go normal. Is this the brake valve? I had a look at it and its just a box with pipes going in, cant see any moving parts.

    The spring thats attached to it is attached to a lever, its the lever you need to free up.

    No spring on mine, it must have fallen orf

    we tried to free it but its completely fu**ed so need a new 1 to pass mot i live in cromer norfolk f any1 has 1 near by would be great cheers
